Fable 2

Fable is a unique game because  you can get married and start a family, buy a house, buy real estate and rent it out to people for profit.  You also can do jobs for money like blacksmithing and bar tending or by doing quests.  With the money you make you can afford to but well made weapons with more damage.  Also there are spells you can acquire to use in combat.  Although this game seams to be more about getting money and supporting your family but it is actually an action adventure game.  You are able to choose the path of good or bad karma which determines the way the game will be played.  If you have bad karma you will be doing quests that make you a bad person, such as; kidnapping people for money or assassinating innocent people and looting them.  If you have good karma you would be doing quests that help the sherifs and benefit the people.

Grand Theft Auto 4

GTA 4 is fun but violent game.  You play as an immigrant from Russia who has come to Liberty City to start a new life, but he is poor and is starting at the bottom and working his way up.  He's  a hired gun and he does other dangerous tasks for money.  In one mission you hired to protect a man who's doing a drug deal.  Your on the top of a building overlooking the alley with a sniper with the crosshairs on the other man  ready to shoot.  Also there are cheats in the game that give you weapons, ammo, health, and vehicles.  With the cheats it leads to going around the city and just shooting everything and getting as many stars as possible.  With the cheats you practically unbeatable because you have unlimited ammo and if you're low on health you just give yourself more.  The main story is a fun way to play the game, but when you add cheats to it it's a good recipe for a good time.

Battlefield 3

The Battlefield 3 multiplayer is the best thing about it.  The campaign is just an extra thing, the multiplayer game mode is the game.  The online is a fast pace strategic game.  In order to win most game modes such as Rush and Conquest tour team must work together to achieve the objective.  When on the attacking team in Rush, your team has to break through the defenses of the team defending the points your team must destroy to advance and hopefully win.  There are tons of weapons for each class with endless customization.  One of the best things about this game is the use of vehicles.  You can fly jets and helicopters, drive many types of APCs, tanks, and jeeps.  Jeeps are mainly use for quick transport, while tanks and APCs are used to carry some other people while the driver tries to kill people with the cannon or large turret.  The jets should be left for the people who are good at using them because they are hard to get kills with and control.  The same goes for helicopters, but I think they are even harder to drive than jets.

Batman Arkham City

Batman Arkham City got a 10 rating in Game Informer Magazine.  Rocksteady added many new features and gadgets.  The new abilities include using the grapple while running or flying, the dive while flying to get speed, to go immediately into flying after grappling, drop attack, and aerial attack.  Of the new features I think the ability to use the grapple while flying is the most useful.  Especially now that the map is large compared to Arkham Asylum.  The new gadgets are the remote electrical charge, freeze blast, ultra batclaw, disruptor, and mine detonator. My two favorite gadgets are the disruptor and the remote electrical charge.  The disruptor is a good gadget to use when doing predator challenges because it disables the weapon of the enemy you use it on.  The remote electrical charge shoots an electrical charge that works great on enemies with heavy armor and activates some machinery.  The combat system in this game is the best compared to any fighting game in my opinion. 

Bioshock

Bioshock is a twisted and dark game. The game starts out with you on a plane that crashes into the middle of the ocean next to a building which you enter.  Inside there is a bathysphere which takes you under water and shows you a short film about the place it is taking you to.  An under water city that is supposed to be a utopia called Rapture.  In the city people were offered plasmids that genetically alter you so you can have special abilities like having fire a your fingers and telekinesis.  The problem was that people went insane and started killing each other and destroying the city.  The game is demented and you will notice this many times throughout the game.  Once you get some plasmids you can go to the plasmid store to purchase new abilities and perks using ADAM.  Adam is harvested from a Little Sister which is protected by Big daddy.  You have to kill the Big Daddy if you want to get the ADAM from the Little Sister.  You can either kill the little girl for more ADAM or save her and get less.  There are also many weapon upgrade stations around the game to make you guns more power full, accurate, and etc.  Hacking is a helpful tool to have cameras and turrets attack enemies.  Comes in handy when fighting a Big Daddy.

The Orange Box

The same producers as Left 4 Dead, Valve spent many years making The Orange Box.  This game has five games in it.  Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress Two.  The Half Life 2 games are the main campaign.  Portal is a unique and very challenging puzzle game.  The object of the game is to get from one end of the testing facility to the other using a portal gun.  The gun makes two different colored portals and when entering one you go out the other.  Team Fortress two is the multiplayer game mode.  There are two different types of games, capture the bag, and control the point.  In multiplayer there are 9 differant classes to play as.  Soldier, Scout, Pyro, Heavy Weapons, Engineer, Demoman, Medic, Sniper, Spy.

Dead Space

Dead Space is a 3rd person sci-fi horror game.  The game is set on a mining ship orbiting a distant planet and your character is on a service repair team sent because the ship hasn't been replying to any transmissions.  All seams well for a few minutes on the ship and then chaos.  Genetically altered humans come through the ceiling and attack you team.  The hallways are dark and there a scary noises.  As you walk through the halls there can be surprise attacks on you at any moment.  There some gadgets you get to help you get through the game such as the ability of kinesis to move and catch objects, and the stasis ability that slows fast moving enemies and machinery.  There are 7 different guns in the game which all have a primary and secondary function.  On the adventure through the ship there are power nodes to find that can be used at a workbench to make your weapons more powerful, reload faster, have more ammo, and speed.  Also, there are shops throughout the game to purchase power nodes, weapon, ammo, and medical supplies, or to sell inventory items.
