Bioshock

Bioshock is a twisted and dark game. The game starts out with you on a plane that crashes into the middle of the ocean next to a building which you enter.  Inside there is a bathysphere which takes you under water and shows you a short film about the place it is taking you to.  An under water city that is supposed to be a utopia called Rapture.  In the city people were offered plasmids that genetically alter you so you can have special abilities like having fire a your fingers and telekinesis.  The problem was that people went insane and started killing each other and destroying the city.  The game is demented and you will notice this many times throughout the game.  Once you get some plasmids you can go to the plasmid store to purchase new abilities and perks using ADAM.  Adam is harvested from a Little Sister which is protected by Big daddy.  You have to kill the Big Daddy if you want to get the ADAM from the Little Sister.  You can either kill the little girl for more ADAM or save her and get less.  There are also many weapon upgrade stations around the game to make you guns more power full, accurate, and etc.  Hacking is a helpful tool to have cameras and turrets attack enemies.  Comes in handy when fighting a Big Daddy.
